Hi Julie:
Personally, I would take the time to learn the iPhone if I were you. I've had mine for over 3 years, and absolutely love it!  Do you have any sight, or are you totally blind?  
I use large fonts on mine, but some people use speech and other features that make the iPhone worth learning.
