Um, I guess I kind of miss the whole effect, because I can not see the
video, but there are blind people out there that might do something like
this. But if I understand wht this exactly is, it is a tv shoe correct?
And if so, if I t is a blind person, it has no reflection on this person's
independence. Although, if they would agree to this, I don't know what to
say to that. Never the less, it leads me to the conclution that it probably
isn't a blind person. And I would strongly agree. This is offensive, and
shouldn't have been aired. It doesn't put blind people in a good light and
makes us seem in competent. While I said that earlier there probably blind
people who might do that, it shouldn't and it isn't the norm. therefore, it
is a bad video.

Below is an email I have sent to "Revision 3" which is an online content
provider.

They have a "hidden video" of a "blind" lady pouring water all over the
place in public setting, and we watch as fellow diners try to help her out.

I find this content not entertaining and derogatory to blind folks.
Revision 3 is now owned by the Discovery Channel.

Please take a moment and review the video here and provide your comment to

Dear Revision 3.

My name is Matthew Sievert.

I am legally blind, I am a cook, and I work as a computer programmer.

I have been watching Revision 3/REV3 for a very long time.

I find your "hidden camera" video with the "blind" women very offensive in
this day and age.

Blind people are very capable, and even if this is an "old" video your
continued display of it will propagate a stereotype that needs to be
eliminated.

I am very disappointed in your organization.

Here is a link to the video.

Thank you for your time, and have a good day.
