Hi, Fred. I think it may be a bit unfair here to presume that folks on this
list try to discredit your postings. Sometimes people have questions;
sometimes they have comments. You offer as good as you get when you write to
wonder why we would host a dog guide seminar--a thing that dampened the
morale of those who worked so hard to organize it and caused them to ask
whether the NFB was a friendly place for dog guide handlers. I don't think
for a minute this was your intent, but absent the tone we get from telephone
and in-person communication, it is all too easy to misunderstand.

This is a list to help, to befriend, and to share.

Many of you know Eileen and Millie Rivera, both active Federationists and
both winners of a national scholarship. Please keep them in your prayers.
Yesterday they and their brothers and sisters lost their mom. She and her
devoted husband Edwin live in Puerto Rico. Margie was visiting here with
friends when she had a stroke. Margie has long cared for their youngest
daughter, Suzanne, an angel in the eyes of Edwin and Margie. Suzanne is an
adult with no ability to care for herself at even the most basic level.
Edwin and his family will need our prayers, both to get over Margie's
passing, and to help the family care for their always loving baby sister.

Warmly,

Gary

David, and others who wish to discredit me and my postings!!!

If you had taken time to read the entire post, you would have found a link
to the website where the book can be found. You would have also found a
phone number to the organization as well. Before you attempt to discount
what someone is trying to say, make sure you are right.
