Do you know of any parents of blind children?  If so, please forward this message onto them.  Informational conference call on self advocacy!  Calling all parents of blind and/or visually impaired children.  We hear about advocacy all the time, but what is it exactly?  How do we let go and let our kids do it for themselves, what do they advocate for?  Call in Sunday night July 28th at 8:00 pm to find out.  Guest speaker Anil Lewis, director of the advocacy dept at NFB headquarters in Baltimore, MD will talk with us about advocating for our kids and letting them self advocate for themselves.
