  It really is a deal.  I am going to see a therapist because of a abusive 
relationship.  That has nothing to do with being blind since birth.  There 
is no reason for an RSB person to want to sit in on a session.  Some may not 
think it is a big deal.  Others may understand that abuse is something that 
you don't want to talk about in front of a stranger.  Rosebrook Center goes 
to great lengths to keep things confidential.  There is no automatic 
relationship between receiving blind services and someone who has suffered 
at the hands of an abuser.
