A Night at the Arch 

Private event for children & adults, who are blind 

or visually impaired, and their families & friends. 

Saturday May 18, 2013, 6 pm to 9 pm

FRIENDS EVENT! 

The National Park Service and the Society for the 

Blind and Visually Impaired invite you to a special 

evening of hands-on, tactile and auditory experiences 

of the Arch. 

Come join us for a free night at the Gateway Arch and the 

Museum of Westward Expansion! 

?? ????Journey to the Top- ride a tram to the top of the Arch. 

?? ????Hands-On Activities- build the Arch with foam blocks, 

Make a branding iron, feel tools, animal furs & 

bones, clothing and much more. 

?? ????Family & Friend Photo -Free souvenir of your night. 

?? ????Movies- Monument to the Dream, 

Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West 

(DVS available).

Call-A-Ride and Taxi-Cabs Please Schedule Arrival at 6:15 PM or later and Pick-Up at 8:30 PM. Drop-o­ and 

Pick-up Point at Old Cathedral (o­ Memorial Dr.) 

Upon Arrival at the North Entrance of the Arch you will go through security screening at the entrance. Please be 

aware that you may have to remove contents from pockets, metal objects, and belts and place them in a tray to be screened. No weapons, including knives are allowed. 

Stop by the information Desk to get your free parking pass and receive information on how to begin your 

fun adventure!
