True that is, but ballot boxes can be stuffed, paper altered, lost and
destroyed. We need to fix the machines so we get good counts and have the
paper as a backup.

  I think part of the problem is that many people are afraid that the
electronic voting machines can be hacked.  This could be a real disaster.
