I would also say that we are used to using a member who has vision when counting for a standing vote, but there is no reason why a blind person could not help in counting the votes in the voting box.

Actually the sound system was fine as on Friday and Saturday I was able to
hear stuff from outside the door while taking care of behind the scenes
hotel/convention issues. I think the problem Sunday morning was two fold.
Mostly the problem is that the church service did not have the doors to
their event closed which I did not discover until we adjourned. And, second,
wwith the added noise some folks did not go to the podium to speak.

I think the sound system was lacking. I sat in the back of the room on
Sunday morning and unless the people in the front of the room ate the mike,
we couldn't hear.

I liked the layout of the hotel and the agenda. The sound system was good.
It did seem like the hotel was a little understaffed, and I felt that the
rooms and closets were small. All though the hotel seemed understaffed, the
staff was friendly and helpful. Gene Coulter and the Lewis and Clark chapter
did a good job with organizing and hosting the convention. I have some
thoughts on the election, but I'll have to write them later.
