[Nfbmo] Preliminary Convention Proposal

The Convention Organization committee has put together a proposal for future
conventions beginning  with 2016. These proposals are a result of a lengthy
discussion at our last board meeting involving both utilization of the
hospitality room and the crowded meeting schedule on Friday evening in
particular.
Hospitality guidelines:
No food should be served requiring heating in the room. No crock pots,hot
plates, burners or coffee pots.
Food may consist of   anything from heavy snacks to light meals at the host
chapter’s discretion.
No food  shall leave the hospitality room  except a bag of chips or piece of
whole fruit to be taken to one’s hotel room. Absolutely no food from
hospitality should be in meeting rooms.
Meetings.
We have attempted to make it possible to attend as many meetings as possible
by staggering events throughout the day and still allow time to go to
hospitality and visit the exhibits. It is also anticipated that committees
and divisions will do their best not to run over their allotted time.

8:15 – 9:00 Registration
9:00 – noon Diabetics Seminar Room A
9:00- 3:00 Parents Seminar Room B
9:00 – 3:00Childrens activities Room C
Noon -1:00 planned lunch
1:15 – 2:15 Board of Directors Meeting Room A
2:30 – 3:30 Membership Committee Room A
3:45 – 4:45 Ways and Means Committee Room  A
5:00 – 7:00 Registration
5:00 – 10:00 Exhibits and hospitality
6:00 Resolutions Committee Room A
7:15 – 8:15 Guide Dog Room B
8:00 – 9:00 Merchants Division Room C
8:30 – 11:00 Students Division Room B
10:00 Nominating Committee
