Scene: Hospital room of a patient with a life-threatening condition being  
visited by a clueless person.
 
Clueless visitor: ""Well, if ya think of it, any thing can happen to  
anybody - I could get hit by a bus on my way home, for example".   
 
Seriously Ill patient:       "Hmm, maybe  you're right.  You should go 
ahead and  go home  - I  wouldn't want you to miss your bus."
