[Nfbmo] Tell Congress to leave Social Security and Medicare alone.

I respectfully suggest that if we want to encourage Congress, we avoid calling out by party. Today the United States Congress did pass a bill that will keep any projected deficits from cutting back on social programs. How long this will last I do not know, but there seems to be a commitment to discussing entitlement reform on its own merits and not using other legislation to promote that agenda.

I don’t usually send these things out to lists, but I think this is relevant to us.
I just signed this petition telling Republicans that any attempt to cut, privatize, weaken, or otherwise damage Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security is unacceptable, and I think you should sign, too.
