Hi Gene, 
The agency where I am doing my internship offers  this program. Consumer Directed Services is a program where individuals who are physically disabled and have a certain medicade code are eligible to hire someone to do household management for them. They can get dishes done, errands ran, or meals prepared just to name a few options. The division of Health and sinior services determines each persons care plan and how many hours of services they receive each month. The agency then pays the attendants, which are the people hired by the disabled individuals. The agency is then reimbursed by medicade. I hope this expbanation is clear.
