Hi,

I didn't know of the cancer.
Someone else that wasn't always a yes man will be missed.
Bryan

Subject: [Nfbmo] Passing of Mike Freeman

I read with great dismay of Mike Freeman's passing. My first contacts
with him involved NFB-MO discussion list issues - and as a list manager
myself, he impressed me greatly with his knowledge of list esoterics, his
patience in pursuing the means to untie knotty problems and his skill in
assuring
anxious users. I always made a point to listen to the NFB Convention
governing board meetings - Mike's distinctive voice lent gravitas to his
well-considered comments and questions. I certainly didn't agree with him
all
the time - but it was always clear that he had taken the due diligence to
support his positions.

I only had the chance to speak to him in person a few times. I'll
miss his leadership - and wry sense of humor.

Dan Flasar
