[Nfbmo] documentary about young legally blind woman

I believe this is  the independent Lens which aired on the 2nd of the month. If this is the case, anyone should be able to view this by using the PBS app, or connecting to the PBS website, which doesn't appear to be extremely accessible. I wouldn't say the show portrayed Michelle as "amazing." You'll just have to watch the show and judge for yourself.

Hi all,
    Just got a notification that a documentary called "Best  and Most Beautiful Things" will be avialble to view this weekend at Webster  University in Webster Groces, in St. Louis County.

Here's the description of the film:

Off a dirt road in rural Maine, a precocious 20-year-old woman named  
Michelle
Smith lives with her mother Julie. Michelle is quirky and charming,  legally
blind and diagnosed on the autism spectrum, with big dreams and  varied
passions. Searching for connection, Michelle explores love and  empowerment
outside the limits of “normal.”  Michelle’s joyful story  of
self-discovery celebrates outcasts everywhere.

I watched the trailer (see link below) - she does  have some vision, uses a 
cane to navigate her town, can read holding a book  right up to her face.   
There are no scenes of her using electronic or  digital accessibility 
devices, or any reference to her belonging to any blind  organizations.    I 
suspect the focus of the film is how amazing  she is given her visual and mental 
disability.  I'll check it out and give  a fuller review.  I wonder if she 
has had any contact with the Federation  or the Council?
