Hello, Erika:

The Ride KC Freedom service was officially launched today to the general public. There was some beta-testing going on before. I have not tested it yet so I can't speak ast to how ell it works.

Regards

Daniel

Have you tried using this Uber-like service? I'm just curious of how well it's running. Thank you for your input.

They are now launching an Uber-like service available to everybody. Those people who are Share-A-Fare passengers can use it at a reduced price. The idea is that people in the general public will use this service and thus subsidize the cost for disabled riders.
