Hello Everyone,

 

Sad news!

 

One of our former board members passed away. Jackie Peters passed away this evening at 5:00. Her sister (Bev) told me Jackie went peacefully. While taking Jackie down to the dining room, staff noticed a change with Jackie’s breathing, so they took her back to her room. Bev said Jackie passed within an hour later. Bev said she will know funeral arrangements after she meets with the funeral home on Monday. I will email everyone the information once I hear back from Bev.

 

On a positive note; both Ruby Polk and I had a really nice visit with Jackie on December 23. When we were leaving Jackie did not want to let me go; maybe she knew something I did not.
