Are the mailboxes labeled with raised print? Do you know the print alphabet?
If not, you might want to learn it so you can read raised print signs and
other information. If you do know it, then try to read the raised print on
the mailboxes if it's there.

Do you have the label maker with the dial that spins or a metal slate with
the tape slots?
Make something short and stick it on your box or get lost and burn time
waiting for the office.

If they won't do it I would ask if there is in reason you couldn't put a
braille label on yours. At least then you could look for the one that had
braille on it and wouldn't be wasting your time trying to open the wrong
box.
