Bryan,
There was no sample this time. I would recommend just write a sentence or
two in your own words.

Hi,

Was there a suggestion sent out from national?
I have been thinking about what to write but don't think the same wording
from everyone has much impact!

Dear committee members,

It seems obvious that a day of real work deserves a day of real pay, whether
one is disabled or not. The agencies taking advantage of section 14 (c) of
the Fair Labor Standards Act claim that some of the people they employ are
not productive enough to earn minimum wage. This is precisely the reason
that they receive preferential treatment in government contracts. It is
precisely why they are tax-exempt organizations. It is why they engage in
charitable drives to raise money. All of these advantages should and are
intended to compensate for some of the workforce which may not meet the
traditional output standards of industrial facilities. Agencies that are
just getting by don't pay the very large salaries that those who head
sheltered workshops are paid. Let's make sure that the people who need help
are the ones who are getting it. Getting paid at least the minimum wage
should be the right of every worker in this country.
