[NFBMO] Mission BEAM - upcoming workshop

Hello Friends;
I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and is looking
forward to the new year.

The Mission BEAM (Blindness, Empowerment, Advocacy, & Mentoring)
Program is excitedly  gearing up for the first workshop of the new
year. The workshop, "Tips & Tools for Successful Students" will be
held on Saturday February 4, 2023 in Cape Girardeau.  The topic will
cover IEPs (participation, implementation, and using its contents
after high school) and self-advocacy with family, friends, teachers,
and in the workplace. The workshop is for transition age students
(ages 14 - 21).

I have attached a flyer with all of the details and the link to
register.  Please share it with families, students, educators and/or
others who may be interested.
