[NFBMO] If you wish to eat this weekend you should read this!

I am writing this in the hopes of making life easier for everyone this weekend. 

First, this message deals with procedures for folks who purchased planned meals
and secondly how to get tickets if you have not already purchased them followed by
a couple of quick notes.

Attendees must bring their meal tickets to each and every meal. Place the ticket
at the top of your place setting to be collected by  a volunteer.  It is
especially recommended that you have your lunch tickets with you in the morning
and head straight to lunch at noon so that lunch service can run smoothly and
servers are not waiting around and so that your food does not  get any colder.
This should allow you  to make your pit stop in your room when you’ve finished
eating. 

IMPORTANT: The procedure for banquet is the same. However, your ticket indicates
which entrée that you are eating. Servers may not serve you unless the ticket is
displayed at your place setting in the designated spot at  the top of your place
setting and clearly visible. This will make life a lot easier for servers as they
will not need to ask each person what they wanted. Whichever meal you selected
when you  registered is the one you will be served. The registration desk will not
swap out tickets. If you changed your mind you will have to find someone on your
own to swap with.

If you need a Friday lunch ticket there are exactly two left. Find me either after
the board meeting or Friday morning with $30 cash or a ?$30 check and I’ll make
sure you can get a ticket. As always, Checks need to be made out to NFB of
Missouri.

 

For the other three meals (Saturday lunch, banquet, and prayer breakfast) there
are less than a handful of tickets for each type of meal.  You may purchase these
tickets and register for the convention on Friday evening from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
and on Saturday morning from 7:45 am to 8:15 pm.  There is a possibility that you
may not be given a choice between Chicken or Steak.

 

The hotel does have an ATM in the lobby.

A breakfast buffet is available for $18 plus tax and tip beginning at 6:00 on
Thursday and Friday and at 7:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
