[NFBMO] Confidence in the Kitchen workshop - coming to Kansas City!

Hello Friends;

I am very excited to announce that the Mission BEAM (Blindness,
Empowerment, Advocacy, & Mentoring) program will be hosting the Confidence
in the Kitchen workshop for transition age youth in Kansas City.

Students ages 14 - 21 are invited to participate in this workshop on May 4,
2024 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the  North Kansas City's Pride House.
 Through a variety of activities and resources, students who participate,
will have the opportunity to increase their confidence in: planning meals,
safely preparing meals and snacks, and keeping their kitchen space clean
and organized.  Best of all, students will get  a delicious lunch prepared
by them!

Attached is a flyer with all of the details, the link to register, and my
contact information. Please share this with families, professionals, and
others with connections to students in this age range.  Feel free to
