Hi Jenny,
Could I please have the link to call in? I’d like to learn more to help a friend who is new to sight loss, and also offer the phone link to him. I encourage him to at least call in, that he doesn’t have to talk, but even just listening could help him. He says he isn’t “deserving”; that others have it worse and he should “quit whining”. He’s had significant vision loss after he had 2 strokes 2 years ago. I’ve known of at least 3 significant falls he has had because he won’t accept help from others or carry a cane.
I just try to be here for him when he is finally ready to address the issues.
Thanks!
Nellene

Whether you are new to sight loss, have had the same vision for as long as you can remember, or know someone who is blind/visually impaired; you are welcome and encouraged to join this call.
