Over a dozen testified mostly blind individuals and Charla Glass from Envision America all in favor. One organization in opposition Animal Policy Group objected to the requirement that each customers who takes the medication be notified that an accessible label for the blind is available saying it is too burdensome.

They generally vote at future meetings. Did you listen to the hearing? If so was there any opposition and if so can you share the gist with me and maybe the who?

Annette,

Thank you for sharing and keeping us informed of what is happening with this bill and the action that we should take. I hope that some people had a chance to submit testimony.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
