Below is a message from our Kansas City Chapter President about our upcoming
Walk for Independence. We invite you to come to our fair city to
participate, and if you cannot come, you can still make a donation on behalf
of your favorite chapter member, even if your favorite chapter member is not
me. 

 

We have already started receiving generous donations, and this Walk promises
to be a great one with the weather forecast to be sunny and 76°f.

Good evening, chapter members,

I hope this email finds you doing well. Next Saturday will be our Walk for
Independence at Loose Park. Attached are our sponsor letter and brochure
with more information.

Additionally, if you have an orange t-shirt that you purchased previously,
please wear it. If you don't have one, no worries--we've got you covered! We
have shirts for sale for $10, and one will be given to you.

Please join us on Saturday, May 3rd to walk, socialize, and support our
chapter.
You can help by obtaining sponsors and participating in our 2025 walk.

Event Details:

*	Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Loose Park Pavilion (5200
Wornall Road). The park entrance is between 51st and 55th Streets.
*	Registration fee: $10
*	You may turn in your sponsor sheet, donations, and registration fee
in advance or at registration on the day of the walk. Checks should be made
payable to NFB - Kansas City.
*	Money raised can be turned in through July 12.

Walk Route:
The 5K walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. (rain or shine) at Loose Park and
follow a route through Wornall Road, Meyer Boulevard, Ward Parkway, and 55th
Street.

We look forward to seeing everyone on May 3rd.
