Dear Gary H.
I will check into the Passenger Portal. Also where in the Token Transit app is the area to purchase books of Access Express tickets? Also does the portal when setting it up need an ID to complete the process?

Access Express riders can manage and request trips online using the Passenger Portal. This online platform allows riders to:

    a.. view their scheduled trips,
b.. cancel in advance any trip that is no longer needed,
c.. submit requests for new trips, and
d.. receive important updates on Access Express services.
Any rider who is certified to ride Access Express can register for a Passenger Portal account.

Passenger Portal vs Scheduling Over the Phone
The same rules and policies generally apply to riders who use the Passenger Portal as to customers who do not. As with all Access Express trips, trips may be requested one to seven days in advance through the Passenger Portal, and cancellations must be made with a day’s notice to avoid penalties. However, there are some unique limitations for requesting trips through the Passenger Portal. Riders may only request weekday trips through the Passenger Portal.
***Any requests for trips occurring on Saturdays or Sundays must be made over the phone.***

  Requesting Trips
All trip requests through the Passenger Portalwill be reviewed by our dispatch staff. You will be notified if your trip was added to our schedule or if we were unable to accommodate your request. If your trip is scheduled, your trip times will appear in the Passenger Portal, and you will receive a confirmation notification.

Don’t Forget to Review Your Notification Preferences
Please be sure to review your contact information and notification preferences in the Passenger Portal so you receive notifications in a way that works best for you. Only persons who live in Springfield or who are visiting longer than 21 consecutive days may use the portal. Visitors must schedule their rides over the phone or in person at the Transit Center.
