Hi, all you fine folks out there in NFB Montana land.

 

Has anyone thought about the upcoming elections at the convention?  

Anybody want to run?  

The Elections Committee and other inquiring minds want to know.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if memory serves, the following
positions are up for re-election:

President, Jim Aldrich, elected in 2012 for a two year term  

First Vice President: Rik James, elected in 2012 for a two year term 

Second Vice President: Sheila Leigland, elected in 2012 for a two year term 

Treasurer: Ted Robbins, elected in 2012 for a two year term 

Board Member: Jeff Haworth, elected in 2012 for a two year term  

Board member: Joy Breslauer, elected in 2012 for a two year term  

 

There are two other board members who are not up for re-election this year,
Becca Stuart and Stacy Huff.  They were elected in 2013 for two-year terms.

 

Before you decide that you may just as well vote all of us in or out for
another two years, you may wish to consider whether anyone on the list wants
to run for another two years, or perhaps wants to run for another position.


 

If anyone wants to run, he or she may want to consider what to say at the
convention to persuade the rest of us who may know you all too well to
campaign for you or vote for you.

 

Also, there hasn't been a flood of volunteers to be on the election
committee.
