Hi, all you fine folks out there in NFB Montana land.

Has anyone thought about the upcoming elections at the convention?
Anybody want to run?
The Elections Committee and other inquiring minds want to know.

Please email Bruce at bjb5757 at bresnan.net if interested.

Thank you, Ed, for correcting my earlier post.
At our founding meeting, we elected a full slate of officers. Sheila
Leigland and Mike Mooney were board members for 1 year. Mike moved out of
state & we elected Sheila as a vice President along with Rik, so their
positions were vacant, therefore we elected Stacie & Rebecca for 2 year
terms. We also elected Rik & Sheila as vice presidents for a 1 year term.

So, here is the list of people up for re-election.
President, Jim Aldrich, elected in 2012 for a two year term
First Vice President: Rik James, elected in 2013 for a one year term
Sheila Leigland, elected to the Board in 2012 and as Second Vice President
in 2013 for a one year term
Treasurer: Ted Robbins, elected in 2012 for a two year term
Board Member: Jeff Haworth, elected in 2012 for a two year term
Board member: Joy Breslauer, elected in 2012 for a two year term

Mike Mooney was also a board member, but he moved out of state so his board
position was open.
When Sheila was elected Second Vice President, her board position became
vacant.
To fill those two vacant board positions, Becca Stuart and Stacy Huff were
elected in 2013 for two year terms. They are not eligible for re-election
this year.

Before you decide that you may just as well vote all of us in or out for
another two years, you may wish to consider whether anyone on the list wants
to run for another two years, or perhaps wants to run for another position.

If anyone wants to run, he or she may want to consider what to say at the
convention to persuade the rest of us who may know you all too well to
campaign for you or vote for you.

Also, there hasn't been a flood of volunteers to be on the election
committee.

Joy, better informed, but still thinking out loud
