BREAKING NEWS:  Optelec and Freedom Scientific have merged!  This morning an
announcement was made by their new holding company, Vector Capital.  See the

According to the press release, both companies will retain their brand names
and product portfolios.  Distribution channels will be worked out early in
the New Year and we will let you know as soon as the new system is in place.
