I've heard that from several people, but in looking through the settings on
Gmail, there's nothing that would block them or stop me from receiving my
own messages.  I don't receive them even if all filters are off or if I
choose to override filters.  Fi it's something set by default, there should
be a way to change it if you want to.  There is for almost everything else I
can think of.  Oh well.

Hmmm! Apparently I get my posts on Sam Net but I normally  don't see them if
they originate from my Gmail address.
