Later this week we will be pushing out information on the Do You Dream in
Color documentary (www.doyoudreamincolor.com). We will have information later
this month to help affiliates put together screenings as educational and
fundraising activities. I encourage each of you to learn about this
documentary and consider how it fits into our broader educational
initiatives.

Do You Dream in Color? Tells Stories of Blind Students

Do You Dream In Color? began as a small project: a quest to understand the
dreams of the blind. We quickly found ourselves with a story bigger than we
were-surrounded by an inspirational group of blind teenagers and a
larger-than-life mission to raise awareness about a community that captured
our hearts.

Do You Dream In Color

You don't need vision to have a dream

Presented by Wiltonhouse pictures, in association with Isotope Films, and The
National Federation of the Blind.

Connor, Nick, Sarah and Carina are like most teenagers navigating the
challenges of high school, but unlike their peers - they're blind. Do You
Dream in Color? is a powerful and inspiring look at the journeys of these
courageous teenagers. Their true stories highlight the many obstacles faced
by blind students,

and how they overcome them to live the lives they want.

Live the life you want

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
