books     I love books and will read novels and nonfiction if it catches
my attention. I also read some magazenes as well as true crime.

> I’m a 71-year old guy now. I think I took to reading early on, and always loved to dig into a story or a book to get an idea about how a character or a plot would develop. If there was a puzzle, a mystery, engaging circumstances, it, I might have a tough time doing anything else until the reading was concluded.
> As my eyesight continued to change, or shall we say, sailed into not being functional for reading visually, so did many of the ways that I would read. And besides that, as I got older, many of my reading preferences have evolved. I mean, I got into reading stuff I never paid much attention to before.

> How about you? What is your deal about reading? Do you dabble with many genres, or do you like to start a serial series of novels at book one, or just dip in anywhere? Do you read with your ears, your fingers? Your toes? Do you mostly read for pleasure or to enhance your knowledge on a certain corner of the book nook?

> Coming up on Monday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. (Mountain time), 9:00 p.m. (Eastern time), you can join a BRAND NEW place to discuss, discover, and explore your own value in reading.
> This first meeting is to explore what we want the group to be, and how we will set about to have the group come to life.
> We will set up a schedule for future meetings, we will try to decide about how we want to structure our gatherings, and we will introduce each other in general. Be thinking about it. And please bring your ideas and preferences. I think it could be a pretty nice thing.

> TO be invited to the Zoom meeting, I need to get an email from you. So please do so sooner than later, okay? Write me atd28rik at msn.com. Ask to be included in the Montana Readers Book Club. Name to be democratically established at a later time.
> I will include your email address in the Zoom invitation list.
> I will try to send out the invitation notices within a reasonable time so that you can make your plan to attend.

> I will host the meetings, at least most of the time. Co-hosting will be Jacob Krissovich of Helena, who is a member of the board of the Montana affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind. He also serves as President of the recently formed Helena chapter of the NFB of Montana. So, there is no doubt that we may choose to include aspects of blindness and low vision as a part of our regular conversation. I envision us all learning from each other, about not only what we read, but how, where and even when.
