[NFBMV] Protest-transportation-Dayton mall case

 Thank you Robbie for sharing, NFB was one of several groups that were demonstrating. Only eight of us showed up, due to the weather it was so windy. And I’m not sure why they didn’t mention every group that was there I’m sure it was a matter of how much time was available it was probably easier to just identify all groups as the disability community. We filed  A lawsuit along with two other groups December 2015. We have been demonstrating for two years and never received any coverage until Sunday, March 8, 2018. We were thankful for the coverage where ever it was seen or heard even though it was less than 30 seconds in reach more people then we could possibly have reached at the Dayton mall. So now hopefully we will get more reaction from the private owners of the Dayton mall. Stay tune because we will be out there again. Thanks sincerely Carolyn Peters

which would not have been beneficial to you I guess, but it was kind of
annoying that they didn't mention NFBMV.  They just said, "a group." And
only "people with disabilities" not "blind people."
Perhaps it costs more money to actually get your group's name mentioned?

have been protesting for transportation rights to the front entrance of the
Dayton mall for the past two years. Several of NFB members have been
witnesses and have given testimony for lawsuit we have filed against the
private owners of the Dayton mall. Today we had a break, channel 7 news came
out and videotaped, took pictures and interviewed myself Dr. Carolyn Peters
and Greg Kramer from Access for Independent living the story will be aired
tonight on channel 7 news at 11 PM please take the opportunity to watch Kind
