Parent Power: Peer Power

The National Federation fo the Blind and the Nebraska commission for
the Blind present this fun and informational seminar.

In this jammed packed two hour workshop there is fun and information
for the entire family!

While the parents are enjoying the comradery of connecting with one
another, their blind children and siblings will be making new
connections of their own through the excitement of Braille games and
activities.

This workshop which is on Friday October 10th and runs from 4:00 P.M.
to 6:00 P.M. will consist of two concurrent sessions. Any youth may
join the group assembled to play games and activities which
demonstrate the possibilities for how to adapt games for blind
persons. The adults will be meeting to strengthen friendships and
strengthen their knowledge of the iep process and how they can be more
of a active participant in their child's iep. In addition, several
