Good Morning,

The National Federation of the Blind of Iowa would like to invite you to attend our 2024 State Convention October 18-20 in Urbandale Iowa, a suburb of Des Moines. While attending your own state convention ought to be the priority, I know from personal experience that attending the conventions of other states can be both fun and informative.

Our National Representative this year will be President Riccobono, and we will have sessions for seniors, students, parents and more. We are gathering history of NFBI past, and also have a selection of exhibitors who will be at the convention, including technology vendors.

TO learn more or register, please visit nfbi.org/convention <http://nfbi.org/convention>.

We have one additional opportunity for anyone and everyone that does not require attending our convention. Thanks to HumanWare, a sponsor of this year's convention, we will be holding a drawing during the convention for someone to win a Victor Reader Stream 3. In order to enter your name into the drawing, please complete the Victor Stream drawing entry form <https://nfbi.org/victor-stream-drawing>. Each donation in the amount of $10 will give you a chance to potentially win the Victor Stream 3. You do not need to be present at the banquet in order to win. If you have any questions regarding the form, please contact Becky Young, president of the Des Moines Chapter, at 515-553-9270 or byoung at nfbi.org <mailto:byoung at nfbi.org>

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

We look forward to seeing you soon,
Helen Mejia and the rest of the NFBI convention planning committee
