Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your summer and making the most of the longer
days. There's no better way to wrap up the season than by coming together to
plan for an exciting fall and beyond!

The National Federation of the Blind of Nebraska Board of Directors will
hold its quarterly meeting on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in the Dakota Room
at the Divots Conference Center, 4200 West Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, Nebraska
68701. This is also the site of the 2027 National Federation of the Blind of
Nebraska State Convention, which will be held April 8-11, 2027.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m.
As always, board meetings are open to our membership, and a Zoom option will
also be available for those who wish to attend remotely.

The agenda is still being finalized and will be distributed next week.
Planned topics include discussions on upcoming fall activities, including
Blind Equality Achievement Month and the Coast to Coast Challenge. We will
also discuss Washington Seminar and the 2027 National Federation of the
Blind of Nebraska State Convention, along with other important
organizational business.

If you are interested in attending the meeting in person, please let
President Richey know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

I hope you will be able to join us, either in person or on Zoom, as we
continue the important work of the National Federation of the Blind of
Nebraska. I look forward to connecting with many of you on August 29.
