Dear Nebraska Federationists and Friends,

What an incredible week we shared at the 2026 National Convention! Thank you
to everyone who participated, whether you joined us in person or virtually.
Your enthusiasm, engagement, and commitment helped make this year's
convention another outstanding success.

Nebraska was well represented with 68 members attending in person and 9
members registered for the virtual convention experience. Thank you for
helping make our affiliate strong and visible on the national stage.

Leader Dogs for the Blind-More than Guide Dogs, Presented by Leader Dogs for
the Blind

Leader Dogs for the Blind offers much more than guide dogs. Leader Dog
offers one week long orientation and mobility programs for both adults and
teenagers as well as a teen summer camp for individuals who are blind or low

Although this year's convention has come to a close, it's never too early to
begin planning for next year. We can't wait to gather together again in
Austin, Texas, July 2-7, 2027. If you've never attended in person, we
encourage you to start setting aside funds now so you can experience the
energy, fellowship, and life-changing opportunities that only a National
Federation of the Blind convention can provide.
