The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

 

Research Title: Disability & Aging & Work Needs Identity Survey (DAWN-IS)

 

Being conducted by: Human Factors and Aging Laboratory at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Our research center, TechSAge, is funded by the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services

 

Purpose of the Study

The purpose of this survey is to evaluate the worker identity of older workers aging with disability. You may be able to help us understand how older workers with disabilities think about their role at work or in volunteer activities 

 

 

 

Potential participants must be age 50 years or older, work or volunteer at least 20 hours per week, and self-identify as having a mobility, vision, or hearing disability.

 

Role of the Participants and Anticipated Length of the Study 

This survey will last 20 – 30 minutes and take place online.

 

Proposed Participant Compensation

Yes, Participants may choose to enter a raffle, with 10% of participants winning a $25 Amazon ECode.
