Greetings,

As I’m sure you are aware, this Tuesday, November 5th is the day to vote! All of us should take advantage of the right to vote! Below please read some announcements from our National Office as well as Lyft and Easterseals.

Election Information on NFB-NEWSLINE®:

We have added the All Politics Now publication to our Breaking News Online category on NFB-NEWSLINE. Additionally, we have implemented a candidate search option for the 2024 presidential and vice-presidential candidates. The searches are done across top newspapers, breaking news, international outlets, and magazines. To access this information via telephone, select option 1 from the main menu, then option 5 for the 2024 candidate searches. If using the NFB-NEWSLINE mobile app, go to the Information Sources tab, select "All Publications," and then "Candidate 2024 Searches." For subscribers using Web News on Demand, choose "Publications Organized Alphabetically" and select “2024 Candidate Searches.”

Blind Voters Survey and Election Day Hotline:

Our online Blind Voters Survey is available, and we encourage anyone who has already voted to complete it so that your experiences, whether positive or negative, can be documented. There are three versions of the survey depending on how you voted:

Voted in person <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VDJGSS8> ,

voted absentee <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VYYJDXT> ,

or the

Spanish language survey <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7J3G7FH>

(which includes both in-person and absentee voting options). Our Election Day Hotline will be operational on Tuesday, November 5. The hotline number is

877-632-1940.

Promo from Lyft:

͏Get 50% off your ride to the polls

to help voters get to the polls, we're providing access to discounted rides. Save 50% on your ride with code:

VOTE24

(up to $10). Add your promo code now. It'll be ready when you ride on November 5.

Easterseals Announcement:

Easterseals National and local Easterseals affiliates have an emerging partnership with Lyft and would like to invite you to participate in our 2024 Voting Access Campaign.

Voting is a fundamental right, and through this initiative, Easterseals aims to underscore the importance of making elections more accessible for individuals with disabilities, including older adults, Veterans, and their families.

To that end, we have a number of Lyft codes that we are offering individuals at no cost, for round trip transportation to their local polling station, valid for travel between now and November 5.

To participate, the voter can send their name (first name is sufficient), city and email address (for e-delivery) to

info at ne.easterseals.com <mailto:info at ne.easterseals.com>

The code will be provided via email within 24 hours of the request.

One round trip voucher per voter, while supply lasts.

Sincerely,

Jamie K. Richey, President
