[NFBNGC] Don't forget to PAC this holiday season

Hello, everyone. This is your Preauthorized Contribution (PAC) Coordinator, Barbara Loos.

Nebraska is in the top ten in contributions, ranking nine. I want to encourage you to keep PAC top of mind as we enter the holiday season. When considering participating, please think about what your PAC contributions support as part of our national general fund. 

 

Our Nebraska affiliate intends to sponsor a BELL (Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning) Academy in 2025. While some of the money that supports that experience for children comes from our local fundraising, the materials and expertise our national office shares will be key to its success.

 

Other ongoing national programs Nebraskans benefit from include: 

 

*	Braille Reading Pals
*	Braille Readers are Leaders
*	free white canes
*	free slates and styluses

 

As well as support for issues related to technology, Ride Share, and voting, to name a few.
