Greetings to all!
I am excited to announce the following opportunity to come out of your
comfort zone to raise expectations of blind people to live the life we want 
and kto transform dreams into reality.
Come join me and others with a surfing experience.
The information is below and please share with others.
The NFB and the NFBNJ are planning to attend and provide to others our
mentorship to those in need ofmentoring.

The Visual Experience Foundation has partnered with the
Neptune Lions Club and Christian Surfers to establish the
1st Annual Asbury Park Surfing for Vision Event

8th and Ocean Surfing Beach
Rain date 8-28-16 9am to 1pm

This is a Life changing event for all involved as we share the
experience of surfing with the blind and visually impaired for a fun filled
day bringing awareness that there is “Life after Blindness!”

Surfers
Registration is open to those blind, legally blind and those diagnosed with
un-stoppable vision loss. Not only will it be a lot of fun and a great
experience, but your courage and participation is an example of strength and
hope to others as we together bring awareness, that there is Life after
blindness!
Instructors and water safety
Are you a experienced surfer, lifeguard, surfing instructor? Register and
one of our team captains will contact you about being part of this awesome
opportunity to give back.
Volunteer
Assist at event, Help spread the word with flyers and social media, collect
old eye glasses, help find sponsors. There are many opportunities to serve.
Sponsor or donate
There are multiple levels to participate as a sponsor or personally donate.
This is a great cause to be associated with.
Cheering section
Put this in your phone calendar and share with your friends. Your attendance
is requested to cheer on those with the courage to experience life to the
fullest…

Neptune Lions Club will be doing FREE EYE screenings at the event.
Bring your old glasses as they will be collected to be donated to
impact the vision of those who are in need.
