[NFBNJ] Pre Registration Form State Convention Payment Methods

Greetings to all!

It is that time of year to make your hotel reservations and to complete the pre registration form located in this message.  In addition, the pre registration form can be found on Newsline and the state website, please visit www.nfbnj.org/state-convention.

The hotel information to reserve your lodging is provided in the pre registration form.

Please take notice to the following dates:

October 19: deadline to reserve hotel rooms at the NFBNJ special price

October 20: deadline to reserve for childcare

October 26: deadline for pre registration

 We are planning to complete the agenda no later than mid October.  When completed, the convention agenda will be posted on the state website, posted on Newsline and distributed to all on our NFBNJ distribution lists.

Once the deadline of October 26 passes, the pre registration form will be deleted from the state website and registration form with increased prices will be posted.

With the above message, MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS AND MAKE PAYMENT To ATTEND THE 41st STATE CONVENTION OF THE NFBNJ.

We  have provided several methods to make payment.

PayPal with your debit or credit card and or if you have a PayPal account.

If you wish to make payment  with check, please complete the pre registration form and make check payable to NFBNJ and mail to Joe Ruffalo, 254 Spruce Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey  07003.

Please follow the procedures provided on the form. When completing the online form, please complete all required fields for a successful submission.

It is extremely important to have all information as we need to provide all food counts a week prior to the state convention.

4:00 to 9:00 PM—Exhibit Hall open 

FRIDAY, NOV. 10

7:30 AM—Breakfast for those registered in the hotel

8:00 AM to 1:00 PM—Exhibit Hall open 

9:00 AM to 12:30 PM—Division Meetings: Senior, Diabetes, Braille, Technology 

Box lunches will be available for purchase

2:00 to 5:00 PM—Program— Travel Tips, Leadership, Convention 1st Timers, Library, EDGE Program for teens, Entrepreneurs, & more

5:15 PM—Dinner—$30, open to all who preregister

7:00 PM—Resolutions Committee Meeting—open to all

8:00 to 11:00 PM—Music, Dance Lessons, Game Show—Let’s Learn Federation History, Auction Prizes, Cash Bar; hosted by Central Chapter and Braille Division

9 AM to 12 PM—National rep Scott LaBarre, Presidential Report from President Joe Ruffalo, Exec. Director of NJCBVI Dan Frye, Scholarship Winners, BELL Program; networking; door prizes; and much more.

2 to 4 PM—Students, Training Programs, Technology, BELL, Sports & Recreation

4 PM—Town Hall Meeting with National Rep Scott LaBarre & NJCBVI Executive Director Dan Frye 

7 PM—Banquet, Keynote Speech, Auction, Scholarships, & Distinguished Service Awards
