Greetings to all!
Working together to make a difference has been written and spoken many 
times.
Below you will witness that working together does make a difference.
A personal thanks to Ellen Sullivan, interim secretary and chair of the fund 
raising and grant committee and to Brian Mackey, treasurer of the affiliate 
and others for assisting with comments and financial statements to submit to 
Allergan Foundation for consideration for a grant for the BELL Academy for 
2019.
The results were positive, read below.
This is the second grant awarded this past several months.  The first award 
of $5,000 was granted from the Bausch Foundation to assist with the BELL 
Academy and to provide with sponsorship to assist with expenses for the 
state convention for 2018.
Again, congratulations to all members in the affiliate as we receive and 
gain strength from your involvement to raise expectations to live the life 
we want!
