About the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey:
The National Federation of the Blind is the largest and oldest organization
of and for the blind in the United States. The NFBNJ was established in
1976 and has seven chapters and five divisions. Chapters conduct
monthly meetings to educate, motivate and inspire by providing information
to raise expectations to live the life we want! Also visit the NFBNJ web
site: www.nfbnj.org.
The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness does not hold us back. Together with love, hope and determination,
we transform dreams into reality.
