Need something to do this winter? Then participate in our Winter Challenge
from Sunday, February 10 through Sunday, March 31, 2019 by downloading and
completing Blind Alive audio described exercising videos. All are invited
to participate in our Winter Challenge!
Blind Alive has created a huge collection of audio described exercise
videos. These videos are for all levels of fitness from beginner to
advanced and geared for the blind and vision impaired. The NFBNJ Sports
and Recreation Division has made these videos available via the Sports and
Recreation Calendar and More page at
www.nfbnj.org/sports-and-recreation-calendar.
How does it work? The Challenge is to see how many of these podcasts you
can download and complete this winter. These videos are so good that you’ll
surely make some or all of them part of your normal exercise routine, or
you can use them to create an exercise routine that suits you. Remember,
these are free, and all it will cost you is a little time and effort.
The goal is to find videos that fit your lifestyle and create your own
workout series. This is not a competition to see who completes the most
videos. The prize is to improve your lifestyle. Take advantage of this very
generous gift of health and fitness.
All participants will have an opportunity to complete a survey and share
about their journey. Survey results will be discussed on the April 17, 2019
NFBNJ Sports and Recreation Division Conference Call that will be held at
8:00 pm. All are welcome to join in by calling 605 468-8005
<(605)%20468-8005>
and use access code 460994 followed by the pound sign.
To participate you must complete the registration form by clicking on the
following link:

Let’s challenge ourselves to come out of our comfort zone and become a
stronger, healthier and more active community.
