Hi Joe,
I know you are both constantly receiving & sharing information. I don’t know
if Verizon for tv is available in your part of the state, or statewide.
I of course live in Gloucester County and have Verizon for the house, and
thought this was worth sharing.
I called the Verizon Disability desk this morning to replace my large button
remote. I found they have upped the number of free large button remotes for
those with low vision/blindness to 3 per household. I also found out they
offer a free router with large button access. The rep shared that Epic,
Showtime, and Giaam on demand are all offering free movies through month’s
end to all Verizon customers. There are also free things to do offered to
all through June 22nd at Verizon.com/home/promo/offers
The phone #for Verizon for those of us with disabilities is (800) 974-6006.
I believe I supplied a doctor’s note (proof of sight loss) some years ago.
Someone calling in should let the rep know it’s their first time calling and
ask about documenting themselves as a Verizon customer with a disability.
Anne Marie
