Virtual Verbal Description Tour
Visitors will participate in a Zoom
discussion that will include images as well as other historical
sourcespaired with verbal description. The program will be two hours long.

BEHIND THE SCENES: LIFE ABOVE AND BELOW THE
FLOOR
The Tenement Museum is excited to continue
an online series highlighting rarely displayed elements from their expansive
collection of everyday objects. This tour will reveal the Museum's
preservation methodology featuring a single apartment in 97 Orchard. Learn
how the Museum enhances their interpretation of daily life by examining the
objects and historic fabric recovered during the excavation and restoration
process.
Recommended Ages 8+
Tickets are free but reservations are
required. To make a reservation, email access at tenement.org, or call
646-518-3038.
