Subject: Vision Study - Aafreen
Dear Mr. Ruffalo,
As discussed, I am in a vision research lab and currently starting a study
that would like participants who are single-eyed. Please read below for a
little bit more information on my study and also see the attached flyer:
We are seeking volunteers for an experiment that tests how people use their
vision to guide their motor system to grasp objects. In addition to people
who use both eyes, we are particularly looking for people who use only one
eye in their everyday activities, either because they are congenitally
one-eyed or because they have lost the function of one eye for more than
three years.
The experiment does not involve any risks to the participants. It lasts
about two hours and the payment rate is $20 per hour. We will schedule it at
your convenience.
If you are interested or know someone who might be, please send an e-mail to
aafreen.zaidi at rutgers.edu using the subject line 'Volunteer for Visuomotor
Experiment' or text 347-974-9729. Please specify whether you use only one
eye in your everyday activities, as specified above.
If you could help distribute this study information to recruit volunteers,
it would be much appreciated!
Thank you!
Best wishes,
Aafreen
