The following information is being forwarded by the NJ Commission for the 
Blind and Visually Impaired as a courtesy, in accordance with our continued 
efforts to share information that may be of interest or of benefit to 
individuals who are blind, visually impaired and deafblind.



Learning Ally is looking for input from local TVIs



Learning Ally Focus Group on Transition for Academic BVI Students in New 
Jersey Learning Ally is looking for a limited number of local teachers, 
parents and students to join us for a focus group on Tuesday, March 24, 
2020.



We will ask questions about preparing your blind or visually impaired 
students for life after high school with a particular emphasis on college: 
what you do now and what you would like to do if time was no issue! Your 
struggles and challenges are what we want to investigate.



Please join us for open and honest discussion around this very important 
topic.



Event Details:

TVI Focus Group

When: Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM



Parent and Student Focus Group

When: Tuesday, March 24, 2020 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM



Location: 20 Roszel Rd., Princeton, NJ 08540



(Light refreshments will be served after each meeting.)



As a thank you, each teacher or family who attends the focus group will 
receive a $100 Amazon gift card.



Please note: parents may attend with or without their transition-aged 
children. Any child under eighteen must be accompanied by a parent or 
guardian. Students over eighteen may attend with or without a parent.
