[NFBNJ] NFBNJ: Hope All Have A memorable Mother's Day!

    Greetings to all, especially MOM’S!

Hope all mom’s have a special day and we all count the blessings that all 
mom’s provided to their children!

My personal reflections.

Tonight, I listened to a tape that my mom made when I was in Vietnam, 50 
years ago.

Her voice sounded strong however, somewhat frightened.

When I came home on Thursday, May 8, 1970, I and all family members were 
relieved that my tour of duty was over. Two days later, Sunday, May 10, the 
family attended mass.  My mom and I brought up the communion hosts and wine. 
It was the last time I wore my uniform.
Fifty years later, Mother’s Day falls on the same day, May 10 and I am sure 
that my mom will be with me as I attend mass via the radio.
Mom, thanks for loving me and your family.
Mom, thanks for demonstrating that volunteering is what we should all do.
Mom, thanks for your generosity for establishing the Joe/Rose fund to assist 
members in the Federation.
Mom,thanks!
