Subject: [Nfbnet-students-list] Compensated user testing opportunity for
low-vision students using screen magnification

The National Federation of the Blind is searching for low-vision students
in college, university, or vocational school to participate in remote user
testing of on-line learning materials to make annotated and marked-up
English composition content a better and more accessible learning
experience.

You may participate in either one or two testing sessions (2-3 hours per
session)

You will receive a $90 Tango card for each feedback session in which you
participate, which can be redeemed for gift cards to over 100 retailers,
services, etc. (View the list here.

You will be asked to read and interact with several versions of content
from an eBook and then provide detailed feedback in an online survey.
If you meet the following criteria and are interested in participating,
please email me at sdubnow at nfb.org.
1. You are blind or low-vision
2. You are a student in college, university, or vocational school, or
just recently graduated
3. You use screen magnification software to read your textbooks or
other content online and (1) do not have colorblindness, (2) are
comfortable not adjusting colors when reading online content, and (3) are
comfortable not using voice output when reading on-line content.
4. English is either your primary language or you are fluent in English.

If you meet the above criteria and are interested in participating, please
reply to sdubnow at nfb.org with the following information:
